Water glassing eggs for long term storage, this is a old fashioned process on how to store your eggs. With food shortages on the rise and eggs shortages happening, empty shelves and people saying that they have now seen a food shortage of eggs and eggs shortage so being able to stock up on eggs and store fresh eggs long term is an important skill to learn.
Also with the inflation and hyper inflation eggs are expected to increasin in price to a price we may not be able to afford the available eggs so being able to stock up and buy a lot of eggs and be able to store them and save your eggs with out refrigeration for a year even up to 2 years! Many old timers store this eggs and they stay good up to 2 years done correctly! using hydrated lime and purified water in a bucket. you can store 300-400 eggs in a 5 gallon bucket depending on the sizes of eggs.
Remember the egg shortage is coming, wether farmers are ordered to kill off there flocks due to the bird flu or it is do to a wide spread food shortage due to the shipping cost of inflation or hyperinflation, egg shortages coming and being able to store your eggs at room temperature ( cool, dark and clean is the best) Doing this will give you a solid shelf life of fresh uncooked eggs for 1 year, many old timer, old fasion folks still store these fresh eggs for up to 2 years in ideal conditions.
How to:
Remember to use non washed eggs, these eggs need to be fresh farm eggs that have not been washed but clean to appearance you simply at one ounce in weight of hydrated lime (pickling lime, slake lime) to one quarte of Water. In this egg preservation video I started by adding 4 ounces of hydrated lime and 4 quarts of purified water in a food grade bucket with a lid. If your water runs low just add more of the solution.
Inflation 2022, and hyperinflation is setting in fast, and many people do not realize the hard times that are coming so learning these old ways, these old homestead methods is super important survival skill to learn and start long-term storing eggs now with no refrigeration. These old egg preserving methods are what people used back in the depression and before people had electricity. Many people would store up there eggs from the summer months and be able to have farm fresh eggs all winter long, this method would come in handy now due to the economic hardship that is being predicted for the future so buying and storing up eggs now for long term shelf life could be a very smart thing to do now, buy eggs now and store them long term with no refrigeration.

How can you have the best relationships? It's all about how you communicate! You may not even realize what you are doing or not doing to get the reaction you would like.
I had a page that I liked, but didn't print well, so I used some of my kit paper to create a feature that has actually become one of my favorites -- and it adds more writing space to my journal. Which just goes to show you that mistakes can always be covered up ... and sometimes, the coverup comes out looking better than what you were originally going for! :-) Remember that if you're making the journal for yourself, you can always leave some decorating for later, while you're using your journal, too.

In this video, we work on several small things. I take you through some rationale for where to place envelopes, as well as using them for additional pocket space. We'll also work with the trifold piece from the kit and I'll show you a way to use it for additional journaling space.

Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the easiest fermentations you can do at home. Simply repurpose your apple peels and cores add some sugar and water and in 4 to 6 weeks you have some of the healthiest ACV hand made by you:
Directions
Fill any jar with apple peels and cores 3/4 of the way full,
Add Water to cover, with every cup of water added add 1 Tsp of sugar,
Cover lightly and store in dark space for 2 weeks
Drain apple bits at this time and continue to cover loosely and store in dark location for 2-4 more weeks, taste at this point and determine if you need to ferment any longer. At this time you can seal well and store in panty or refrigerator for use.

Amish canned Cream of Mushroom soup-
1/3 C butter
1 lb. Mushrooms, chopped
3/4 C. Flour
1 Tbsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
2 quarts Chicken broth
1 tsp. Lemon juice
Saute mushrooms in butter till brown. Blend in flour. Add broth and seasonings. Whip until well mixed. Heat until boiling. Water bath 2 hours.
