"The Shift—illustrates how and why to make the move from ambition to meaning. Such a shift eliminates our feelings of separateness, illuminates our spiritual connectedness, and involves moving from the ego-directed morning into the afternoon of life where everything is primarily influenced by purpose.

As we contemplate leaving the morning of our life, where ego has played a commanding role, and entering the afternoon (and evening), where meaning and purpose replace ambition and struggle, we may encounter unexpected occurrences that accompany this new direction.

It’s almost a universal law that we’ll experience a fall of some kind. Yet these falls or low points provide the energy we need to move away from ego and into a life of meaning and purpose.

The Shift doesn’t mean that we lose our drive and ambition; it signifies that we become ambitious about something new. We make a commitment to living a life based on experiencing meaning and feeling purposeful, rather than never-ending demands and false promises that are the trademark of the ego’s agenda.

What is The Shift?
The first shift that we all make takes us from nonbeing to being; from Spirit to form; from the invisible to our corporeal world of things.

The next shift is the phase I call Ambition where we take on an ego self that is the opposite of the place of Spirit from which we came. Ego in this context is our false self.

These first two shifts are mandatory in the human journey.

Unfortunately, for many people, Ambition is often the end of their life story, but there are two more shifts open to us!

We can all choose to make the leap past the second shift of ego-driven ambition. We arrive at the third shift when we realize that we have an option to make a U-turn away from the false self. We can do an about-face and head back to the place of Spirit in a third shift.

And then, in the fourth shift, we achieve a life of Meaning and purpose by rededicating our Ambition to the fulfillment of our authentic self. We discover that the laws of the material world do not necessarily apply in the presence of the Meaning that is encouraged by our shift to Source. Manifestations of miracles begin to populate the landscape of life.

Meaning is now what defines all the moments of our existence. We can fulfill our greatest calling when we consciously undertake the journey from Ambition to Meaning. We can transform our individual lives and influence the destiny of our sacred planet as well." Dr Wayne Dyer

Dry Brushing is suggested to be a tool to help keep the lymphatic system healthy and moving. Dry brushing for lymphatic drainage is used by some to try and reduce swelling, but it's mostly used for skin health and signs of aging via exfoliation. It's a tool for lymphatic drainage massage, as well, but must be used gently to avoid skin breakdown. Generally, most videos or blogs will tell you to brush towards the heart, but as a certified lymphedema therapist, I show you in this video how the lymphatic system works and what would be the best technique to do dry brushing for lymphedema or your lymphatic system to be most effective. It's important to note that Dry Brushing has anecdotal evidence only at this time, but if cleared by your provider and done safely, some may find benefit.

The super-luxury Rolls-Royce Phantom has entered the 8th generation with slight design changes in appearance, but the overall shape still retains the typical appearance of the 7th generation. The most impressive change on Rolls- The most recognizable Royce Phantom 8 is the slimmer design of the LED headlights than the elder.
These "eyes" of the 8th generation Rolls-Royce Phantom super-luxury car apply modern technology such as Laser headlights combined with daytime LED strips with a lighting range of up to 600 meters at night.

The famous "flying lady" Spirit of Ecstasy sits almost 12 millimeters higher on the bonnet.(Rolls-Royce has reimagined its iconic Spirit of Ecstasy figurine to grace the bonnet of its new all-electric motor car, Specter, 111 years to the day the Spirit of Ecstasy was first registered as intellectual property of Rolls-Royce on 6th February 1911). The new Spirit of Ecstasy stands 82.73 millimeters tall, compared to her predecessor's 100.01mm tall. Her robes, which flow behind her in the slipstream – often but erroneously characterised as ‘wings’ – have been subtly reshaped to make them more aerodynamic and realistic. This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, the 7-passenger all-electric luxury SUV. This Mercedes EQS SUV is scheduled to arrive at dealerships sometime in October. There are two models, the EQS 580 and EQS 450, both standard AWD and have a 107.8 kWh battery. The EQS 450 has 355 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, 459 km/285 miles of range. The EQS580 has 536 horsepower and 633 lb-ft of torque with the same range as the 450. In the US, the EQS 450+ is available, it is a RWD model, this one is not coming to Canada, it has 305 miles of range. The interior is beautiful and it’s everything you would expect from Mercedes-Benz. Our test model has the Hyperscreen, a 56” curved glass surface that is finger print and scratch resistant, it unites a 12.3” LED instrument cluster and two OLED touchscreens measuring 17.7” at the centre console and 12.3” on the passenger side. This screen is standard on the 580 and available in the 450 model. The EQS SUV can charge at speeds up to 200 kW and will charge from 10-80% with a DC Fast Charger within 31 minutes. With a 240-volt outlet, the EQS SUV can charge from 10-100% in 11 hours and 25 minutes and comes with a 9.6 kW onboard charger. The EQS SUV 450 and 580 can tow almost 4,000 pounds and the 450+ RWD model just under 1700 pounds.The interior of the EQS is luxurious, comfortable, spacious and open with excellent visibility. The EQS cabin has some useful storage spaces including a large bin below the floating centre console. It has navigation with electric intelligence to plan the fastest and most convenient route. Available 360-degree Dolby Atmos sound experience, augmented reality and head-up display. Optional 3rd row with two additional individual seats, a warm and cool tone colour scheme. The Premium Package includes features like 10 degree axle steering, climate comfort front seats, enhanced heated front seats, multi-contour front seats with massage feature, head-up display, 4-zone automatic climate control and air balance package. The Premium rear seat package with features like climate control rear seats, power outboard rear seats with memory, luxury rear headrests, rear cabin wireless charging. The Executive rear seating package with features like massaging seats, enhanced heated rear seats, rear seat neck heating, rear cabin tablet and MBUX interior assistant.
In Canada, the EQS 450 starts at $140,000 CAD and the 580 $158,000 CAD.
In the US, the 450+ $104,400 USD, 450 $107,400 USD, 580 $129,950 USD.

Mat’s finally had a chance to get his hands on the Mercedes EQS SUV!

That’s right, Mercedes’s range-topping all-electric saloon is now available as an SUV, and Mat’s about to see if it has what it takes to compete with class leaders like the Tesla Model X!

So does it have what it takes? Well, let’s take a closer look. For starters, it looks relatively smart from the outside, although it doesn’t have much of an imposing presence for such a big (and expensive!) SUV. It looks a bit nondescript truth be told.

Thankfully though, the inside is super luxurious and more than fits the big price tag! There are high-quality materials throughout the cabin, and it comes fitted with the same hyper-screen infotainment system as found in the EQS saloon. Passengers in the back even have the option to adjust their seats, and there’s even the option to add a third row of seats if needed!

There are two editions of the EQS SUV available, with the range-topper being the 580. This comes equipped with two electric motors that can deliver 544hp and 858Nm of torque. It’ll also shoot you to 60mph in just 4.7 seconds!

Here’s the thing though, the price starts at £130,000 in the UK!! So is it worth it? You’ll have to stick with Mat to find out!

The new Mercedes EQS SUV will be the first all-electric luxury SUV and the third model based on Mercedes-Benz’s dedicated electric vehicle architecture. With a luxurious interior it is set to redefine an entire segment. Its interior combines the progressive design, refinement and comfort that customers love about the EQS sedan with the space and versatility of the popular large-SUV concept. The look-and-feel is a sumptuous fusion of digital luxury and innovative new trim elements, while the so-called “purpose design” of the electric-vehicle architecture delivers exceptionally generous SUV interior dimensions. The hugely popular #GLC now sits as #MercedesBenz’s best selling model across the entire range, beating the C Class at over a quarter of a mil sales in just 2021! It had humble beginnings, in the original small Mercedes’ SUV was the GLK, a boxy small ML that never saw the light of day in some territories like the UK. The design was an amalgamation of some ML and some G - a trick the GLB now uses. However as the demand for mid-size SUVs began to heavily spike Mercedes realised they had to up their game, so they created a new car wholly based on their best selling car - the C Class 205 - and named it the GLC. The AMG version sitting as the flagship, of course has a knock on effect on sales too, with the low wide and V8 powered SUV holding the title for fastest SUV on the ring for many years during its tenure.

The new one carries the same formula of close relation to the new #mercedes C Class. That’s immediately obvious on first look. It shares the new MRA2 platform with the C and S class, one that’s been optimised for electrification and dynamics.

Like the C - there are some basic things you need to understand about every model of the new GLC. They’re all hybrid in some way, they’re all 4wd as standard, most will use 4 cylinder engines - yes even the AMGs that I’ll show you in a minute - BUT unlike the C, the GLC will get a 6 cylinder later.

The hybrid element at minimum features to ISG or integrated starter generator, between engine and gearbox, providing immediate 200nm torque and a bit of horsepower before the combustion engine takes over. 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission is standard equipment in all GLC models.

Our GLC 300E plug in that we are looking at today gives - 333 hp, 750 Nm, 61miles range!! It has a 31kw battery packaged better in the rear boot than the predecessor, and a permanently excited internal rotor synchronous motor - which gives 440 Nm torque.

The suspension is a new four-link front set up, with a multi-link rear. It has improved ride quality and and you can also get the Airmatic suspension with active dampening, this comes along with rear axle steering for the first time, of up to 4.5 degrees - more than C class!

As for the body, It’s 6cm longer, with 3 of that going to the boot space, and the rest is the same as the predecessor. It’s more aerodynamic, which is a good achievement for a big car when it looks similar, and brings a tonne of changes on the outside in both Avantgard and AMG Line, with the later even getting painted arches. Options like DIGITAL LIGHT (like S Class) and massive heads up display are available, and there’s a party trick called the “invisible bonnet” which will take the safety game forward for off roading, allowing you to see what’s under the car when in off-road mode.

Will there be a Coupe? Will there be a new EQC? We will have to see, but AMG versions are coming for sure. The first will be the GLC 43 4Matic. Undoubtedly like the C43, it’ll have an M139L engine with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger, 408BHP, 500 NM and a 0-60 starting 5 I think. Aesthetics likely limited to grille, exhaust and wheels on the outside. With the GLC 63 4Matic, gone will be the V8, instead it’ll likely have the same C63 P3 hybrid system with the M139 engine attached to the amg performance battery etc. Good for over 600 BHP peak power, can it achieve the dynamic accolades of the previous car though? I’m unconvinced.

Today though, we will focus on the basic details of this new GLC series, along with the boot space, interior tech and comfort and all the changes brought to this whole new generation!
