Lyrics:
A great light dawns in Galilee
Some say mad man
Some say King
Wonder working rebel priest
Jesus Christ the Nazarene
He knew well what it would take
To free us all from sin and grave
A perfect man would have to die
And only He could pay that price
Friday’s good cause Sunday is coming
Don’t lose hope cause Sunday is coming
Devil you’re done
You better start running
Friday’s good cause Sunday is coming
So He let those soldiers take Him in
As His friend betrayed Him with a kiss
There before the mocking crowd
Like a lamb to the slaughter didn’t make a sound
Then He carried that cross to Calvary
And He shed His blood to set us free
As the nails went in and the sky went dark
The redemption of the world was on His heart
Friday’s good cause Sunday is coming
Don’t lose hope cause Sunday is coming
Devil you’re done
You better start running
Friday’s good cause Sunday is coming
Then He breathed His last
And bowed His head
The Son of God and man was dead
With bloody hands
Tears on their face
They laid Him down
Inside that grave
But that wasn’t the end
That wasn’t the end
That wasn’t the end
Let me tell you what happened next
The women came before the dawn
To find that stone already gone
When they looked inside the angel said
Why you looking for the living among the dead
He’s alive
He’s alive
Hallelujah He’s alive
Give Him praise
Lift Him high
Hallelujah He’s alive
He’s alive
He’s alive
Hallelujah He’s alive
Give Him praise
Lift Him high
Hallelujah He’s alive
Hallelujah hallelujah
Don’t lose hope cause Sunday’s coming
Hallelujah hallelujah
Now Jesus reigns
Upon the throne
All Heaven sings
To Him alone
We watch and wait
Like a bride for a groom
Oh church arise
He’s coming soon

Enjoy this tribute to Elvis doing one of his favorite things, riding his horses on the grounds of Graceland. He was a skilled rider.
Thank you to EP Fan Archive on YouTube for this video.
Enjoy this iconic Elvis Presley "Hound Dog" performance on The Ed Sullivan Show on October 28, 1956. Elvis was 21-years-old. He was joined on stage by The Jordanaires as his backing vocalists.
This video belongs to The Ed Sullivan show (YouTube).
Enjoy watching this video of Elvis' charisma.
Thank you to Gianni Guerriero who put this video together on YouTube. This is what Gianni says...
My tribute to the greatest and charismatic frontman through his distinctive moves and his natural dance. Is a tribute to all the varied aspects of Elvis's personality. No one like him because nobody has all these features combined... "Everything he did was a work of art. His brilliant stage presence was already music in the air." (Gianni Guerriero)
Enjoy this Elvis Presley (official YouTube channel) video of Elvis singing Lawdy Miss Clawdy at the '68 Special. As Elvis said himself, he never went anywhere to begin with, so I prefer to call it the '68 Special rather than the '68 Comeback Special. :)
Enjoy this video of Elvis during the lead-up to his show as he's backstage preparing to go on.
Thanks to Pearl Reeves Patrick on YouTube for this video.
Enjoy Elvis performing Heartbreak Hotel on April 3rd, 1956. He was 21 years old at the time. His original band, the Blue Moon Boys, of which Elvis was originally a part of until they became Elvis and the Blue Moon Boys, were also with him. Scotty Moore on lead guitar, Bill Black on bass, and DJ Fontana on drums.
Thank you to Fabrica Elvis XXI on YouTube for this video.
Please enjoy this mash-up of Elvis and Tom Jones singing I'll Never Fall in Love. Both of their powerful voices make this a perfect duet.
Thank you to thekingelvisisback2 on YouTube for this video.
Enjoy this edit of Elvis and the TCB Band going over the song Don't during the first half of the video and then a video sync of Elvis "singing with" the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra version during the second half.
Thank you to Fabrica Elvis XXI on YouTube for this edit.
Thank you to the talented FABRICA Elvis XXI on YouTube for this edit and Elvis tribute.
Enjoy Elvis singing Bridge Over Troubled Water live on stage as an acapella edit.

Enjoy this recording of Elvis' introduction at the Lousiana Hayride when he was just 19 years old. On stage with him were Scotty Moore (on guitar) and Bill Black (on bass). Scotty and Bill were Elvis' original band, known as the Blue Moon Boys. The three of them were in on it together -- so much credit belongs to Scotty and Bill. True American icons and legends of American music history.

Thank you for such a wonderful video!
Just Good Music on YouTube: "J.D. Sumner (November 19, 1924 – November 16, 1998) was an American gospel singer, songwriter and music promoter noted for his bass voice, and his innovation in Gospel music. Sumner sang in five quartets and was a member of the Blackwood Brothers during their 1950s heyday. Aside from his incredibly low bass voice, Sumner's business acumen helped promote Southern Gospel and move it into the mainstream of American culture and music during the '50s and '60s. As a teenager, Elvis Presley idolized Sumner's singing after seeing him perform with the Sunshine Boys. Presley hired Sumner & The Stamps as his back-up singers in 1971. The group toured and recorded with Presley from November 1971 until Presley's death in 1977. Sumner not only sang at Elvis' funeral but had previously sung at the funeral of Elvis' mother Gladys in 1958."

Just Good Music on YouTube: "This informal Gospel Session was recorded on March 31, 1972 @ RCA Studio C in California after a rehearsal for an upcoming tour. You don't have to be of a religious calling to enjoy the music, just an appreciation of good music is the only requirement.Every conceivable type of American vernacular music influenced Elvis Presley, but perhaps the least recognized of these styles was gospel. That was not only an incredibly important part of his arsenal, it was the only genre in which Presley ever won a Grammy award, something that speaks volumes about that process. He sang in church as a young boy barely knowing the words but the early influence added gospel music to his musical arsenal culminating in a potent musical mix - ultimately entitled rock 'n' roll. White or black, quartet or choral, Presley knew and loved many composers, vocalists and groups, and he made sensational gospel albums. There's something special about his gospel music when heard for the first time and it strikes a powerful emotional chord with the listener and there's no doubt it inspired Presley too becoming an important part of his make-up.
