Today the Austrian forester Viktor Schauberger is considered to be a pioneer of modern water research and the holistic observation of Nature. Is sustainable agriculture possible in Europe? From Spain’s "plastic sea” of greenhouses, to farmer suicides in France, the organics boom and high-tech production, it’s clear that Europe’s agricultural sector is in a period of extreme flux.

And it needs to change: Agricultural landscapes are shaped by the history of our continent and inextricably bound up with its identity. But farmers are struggling. They’re under constant pressure to produce more, at lower prices and can no longer hold out against the stiff competition. Most European farms are still family-run businesses, but it’s the large-scale enterprises that benefit from EU subsidies. These companies practice intensive farming, which we now know has a detrimental effect on biodiversity and human health. This kind of agricultural system is also very bad for soil quality and is now seen as obsolete. With every crisis that occurs, its shortcomings become more evident.

The pace of climate change now requires rapid responses to crucial questions: How to sustainably feed more than 500 million Europeans? What steps can be taken to stem the catastrophe resulting from the dramatic rise in meat consumption (up 60 per cent in 60 years) and its associated intensive production of cereal crops?

Solutions are presenting themselves, and many farmers have already seized the initiative. Throughout the European continent, they are the main drivers of a vital 21st century agricultural revolution: a return to traditional farming methods, intelligent or urban agriculture, fewer mass imports, research into in-vitro meat and meat substitutes. These are just some of the approaches being explored by European farmers in a bid to protect biodiversity, the landscape and the health of human beings.

UPDATE: Hi everyone. 2022 has been quite the year for the struggle being real. I haven't been able to do much when it comes content and I apologize for that. I promise you that is all changing when 2023 hits. I've been hospitalized with pneumonia this year and that kept me down for two months. I am having trouble with living situations and other financial responsibilities because of that and am having to work two labor-intensive jobs
in order to keep from drowning. All while trying to start a record label. It's been brutal, but that's been the nature of my life for the majority. I am used to it, and I refuse to go down without putting forth maximum effort. My Tee Spring page was terminated without notice at the beginning of the year and 'Never Sleep Again Part 2' was removed from all available streaming platforms. Those two things alone provided me some decent security, but no longer. Plus, a few videos being removed by Google/YT and not being active has taken its toll on my income as well. I am not saying this to whine or make an attempt for your sympathy, but simply to inform you why this year has been so unproductive. That's why I always keep to myself even though you all deserve updates. I wasn't planning on doing any fundraisers for my planned record label startup, but I may go that route. It will certainly mean consistent content much sooner if I reach the planned goal. If I do choose to do this, I will unveil the support page after the new year gets going and I've completed a few new videos. It's just that I have some kick-ass artists lined up to make music with me and I CANNOT WAIT to begin releasing the new tracks for you all. The Tao Te Ching (pronounced Dao De Jing) was a book of wisdom written for kings by a sage named Lao-Tzu, circa 500BC China. Much like the book of Proverbs found in the Biblical canon, the truths found in the Tao Te Ching are universal and timeless. But it's not just the east which was, and still is influenced by this great work. The Tao Te Ching resonates deeply with many of the Christian mystics as well, from antiquity to modern times. The Tao is not a religion. Its literal translation is The Way. A way of seeing, a way of being. In the Chinese translation of the New Testament, when Christ refers to "The Way," their word for it is The Tao. "Ritual and religion is the husk of true faith." These are one of the proverbs found in the book. So regardless of your religious background, or whether you believe in God or not, you will still find wonderful truths about life put into the simplest of words. Truths about leadership, patience, love and creativity. So share this link with those you love. It is a gift to the world, and we are lucky to be living in a time like this where such things can be shared. The world needs healing. The healing begins with the metanoia–the transformation of the mind.

You don't need to start with the beginning. You can literally play this from any point in the video and still gain something. I have a special liking for the second half which covers leadership and governance.
