We went to Costa Rica for three weeks. This is the ultimate Costa Rica travel guide. In those three weeks we went all across Costa Rica from inland cloud forests to Pacific Ocean beaches across Costa Rica to the Caribbean side. We discovered the hidden gems inside of Puerto Viejo on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. The vibe was unbelievable, the people were friendly and engaging and that Caribe Culture of The Old Harbor was on full display. We hope you enjoy this intimate cultural deep dive.

⁣A Rainy Night in Grecia

After returning to the La Terraza Guest House B&B, I was enjoying some leftover Papa John’s pizza from the night before while writing this post when it began raining very hard. I could hear the drops of rain thumping against the red metal rooftop of my charming little bungalow. It was
73 degrees with 100% precipitation and I was just chillin’.

It’s been raining every day since I arrived in Costa Rica, sometimes just light showers and other times—like while writing this—pouring. People tell me that Costa Rica has two seasons: wet and dry. They say the wet season begins in May and ends in November.

⁣This is the 2020 Droan grounds and rooms View of La Terraza Guest House B&B Costa Rica. La Terraza is located 30 minutes from SJO airport in the Central Valley.

Take a walk through the car-free streets, plazas and trails of Las Catalinas. This virtual walking tour with the on-site design team highlights strategies we've learned over the past 10+ years of design and construction. An arguably radical idea that received pushback even from the initial design team, our walkable town now seems the most natural and preferred way to be. Car-free public realms invite natural sociability and Kid Freedom that can be enjoyed equally by all. The resulting density allows for more sustainable natural-urban transects. Town's minimal footprint creates a sustainable infrastructure not just for the natural environment, but also for an active and healthy life full of natural, human, and architectural beauty.

Traveling solo. Single woman. Sexy. Assertive. Smart. I would like to say we were fast friends. I asked to interview her almost upon meeting her because I, just felt something very interesting about her. First time solo traveller, a bit apprehensive, introverted, wanting to grow.... and she picked Costa Rica for the next step in her progression. I was so impressed.

⁣Macaws of Costa Rica have breathtaking beauty; they are
intelligent and very social animals with a great personalities. They eat seeds,
fruit, leaves, flowers, and bark from various trees and plant species found in
Costa Rica's coastal woods.

I loved talking to Riley and Devon about their new radio station they started in Costa Rica, Blaxit Radio. *I have talked to them both personally and the links to those videos can be found below. But this video, how did they get the idea to start a radio station (streaming on the internet). What is the overall theme of the radio station? Do they have a message, a mission statement? What kind of music do they play? What do they talk about? Are the other DJ's really from places like Panama, Mexico, Africa to name a few? Does an upcoming artist have a chance to be heard on Blaxit Radio? Who decides? Do they need any more DJ's? Do the DJ's have to live in Costa Rica? Can someone sponsor Blaxit Radio? Are they looking for advertisers? These and other questions answered in this video, 'Living in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 A New Radio Station 📻 Blaxit Radio🎙Talk 🎺 Music'
